35 Tables
Andrew Lyon, Tom Beresford, Colin Harris and Marc Guberman

Inspired by our living spaces and the city around us we fi nd the table as the common link in our dailyexperience; it’s where we have discussions, work sessions, where we eat and where we spend most of our day. It’s an object that is both deeply personal and ubiquitous. 35 Tables are custom made from 12g hot mild sheet metal. They are assembled to create one long table transforming the 40’ long by 8’ wide gallery into a dining room. We see our role as architects and designers as a means of shaping more than just the space itself, but in defining the event that will happen. Our aim is to open the gallery as a space for community, discussion, disagreement, laughter and communication. Having strong roots in Los Angeles, we’re proposing a tables that look like folded tacos that when joined create one large table and when taken apart leave with the community members who enjoy our tacos.
